SOMNIA
UX/UI Design
Overview: Somnia reimagines how we start our mornings by turning our attention to something we usually forget the moment we wake up: our dreams. I wanted to make dream journaling feel easy, natural, fun, and even a little magical. The goal was to design a simple and intuitive way for people to record their dreams; something that feels like a calming part of your morning rather than another task on a to-do list. With a focus on visual storytelling and gentle interaction, Somnia helps users stay connected to their inner world, understand their own psyche, and begin the day with a bit more presence and curiosity.
Responsibilities: I began by researching existing products to understand how others approached dream journaling and morning routines. Using those insights, I built a design system that established consistent visual and interactive elements across the app. I then sketched out wireframes to shape the user experience and refined them through iterations. The final high-fidelity prototype brings the concept to life with a soft, dreamy aesthetic, aiming to make recording dreams feel magical and seamless.
